Privacy Policy

MakeProp (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates makeprop.com, a real estate visual studio that helps agents enhance listing photos, generate AI marketing copy, and prepare complete listing packages. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By creating an account or using MakeProp, you agree to this policy. If you don’t agree, please do not use our service.

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address and optionally your full name. This is used to identify your account and communicate with you about the service.

Listing data. When you create a listing, you provide property details (address, price, bedroom count, etc.) and upload photos. This data is stored in your account and used to generate your listing package.

Photos. Photos you upload are stored securely in Supabase Storage (hosted on AWS). They are processed by our AI enhancement pipeline and retained until you delete the listing or your account.

Usage data. We collect standard web server logs including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This helps us diagnose errors and improve the product.

Payment information. MakeProp does not process payments today. If paid plans are introduced, payments will be handled by a third-party payment processor; MakeProp will not see or store your full card number, and the processor’s own privacy policy will govern that payment data.

We use your information solely to operate and improve MakeProp:

• To create, store, and display your listings and generated packages
• To send your photos and listing details to our AI processing pipeline (fal.ai for photo enhancement; Anthropic Claude for copy generation)
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)
• To diagnose bugs and improve service reliability
• To enforce our Terms of Service and prevent abuse

We do not sell your personal information or listing data to third parties. We do not use your listing photos or copy to train AI models.

MakeProp relies on the following trusted third-party services to deliver its features. Each is bound by its own privacy policy:

• Supabase — Database, authentication, and file storage. Hosted on AWS infrastructure. supabase.com/privacy
• fal.ai — AI photo enhancement and virtual staging. Your photos are sent to fal.ai for processing and are not retained by them beyond the processing request. fal.ai/privacy
• Anthropic — AI copy generation (MLS descriptions, social captions, Listing Score). Listing details (address, bedrooms, price, buyer persona) are sent to Anthropic’s API. No photos are sent to Anthropic. anthropic.com/privacy

If paid plans are introduced later, a third-party payment processor will be added here with a link to its privacy policy before any payment is taken.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Specifically:

• Listing data and photos are retained until you delete the listing
• Account information is retained until you delete your account
• Server logs are retained on a rolling short-term basis for diagnostics
• After you request account deletion, we work to remove your data promptly, subject to any backups and legal obligations

To delete your account and all associated data, email hello@makeprop.com with the subject “Delete my account.”

Access and portability. You can download your listing data and generated content from the Downloads tab in any listing at any time.

Correction. You can update your name and email from the Settings page.

Deletion. You can delete individual listings (and their photos) from the Listings page. To delete your entire account, email us.

California residents (CCPA). You have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of sale (we don’t sell data). Contact us to exercise these rights.

EEA/UK residents (GDPR). You have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your data, and to object to processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

We take reasonable measures to protect your data. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Photos are stored with access controls so only authenticated users can access their own files. Passwords are managed by Supabase Auth and are never stored in plaintext. See our Security page for a full overview.

MakeProp uses a single session cookie (managed by Supabase Auth) to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

MakeProp is intended for real estate professionals and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered users. Continued use of MakeProp after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
