MakeProp subscriptions are sold by Paddle, acting as our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle is the seller of record for the transaction: it takes the payment, issues the invoice or receipt, handles any applicable taxes, and administers refunds. MakeProp provides the software.
That means your purchase is governed both by these terms and by Paddle’s buyer terms. Where the two differ on how a payment is handled, Paddle’s apply to the payment itself.
These are frequently confused, and they lead to different outcomes. Please read both before contacting us:
You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for: a monthly subscription runs to the end of that month, and an annual subscription runs to the end of that year. You keep access, and your remaining credits for the current month, until then. Nothing further is charged after you cancel.
Cancellation instructions are included in the receipt Paddle sends you for each payment. If you cannot find it, email hello@makeprop.com and we will point you to the right place.
Refund requests for MakeProp subscriptions are handled through Paddle, using the buyer support channels referenced on your receipt, or by contacting Paddle’s buyer support. You may also email us at hello@makeprop.com; we will look at what happened and, where a refund is appropriate, work with Paddle to arrange it.
Whether a given payment can be refunded is determined under Paddle’s applicable buyer terms and refund policy, together with the mandatory consumer rights described below. MakeProp does not make that determination and cannot override it. We do not offer an unconditional or automatic refund, and we do not operate a fixed money-back period.
We can still help: tell us what happened and we will look into the product side of it and share what we find with Paddle where that is useful to your request.
Nothing in this policy limits, replaces or waives any right you have under the mandatory consumer-protection law of the country where you live. Where your local law gives you a stronger right than this policy describes — including a statutory right of withdrawal or cancellation for distance contracts, such as the right EU and UK consumers have within the applicable cooling-off period — that law applies, and it overrides anything here that says otherwise.
Where the law makes a statutory withdrawal right conditional, using the service can affect it — typically where you have asked for a digital service to start immediately and given the consent (and acknowledgement) the law requires before it can begin. Paddle presents that consent at checkout and tells you what it means. How those rules apply to a particular purchase is decided under the applicable law and Paddle’s terms, not by this page.
Credits are usage units within MakeProp. They are not currency, they carry no cash value, and they cannot be exchanged for money, transferred, or sold.
A refund and your subscription are two separate things. The refund itself is processed by Paddle under its applicable policy; it does not by itself end your subscription or withdraw credits. Where a payment is refunded we settle the subscription and any credits it granted with you directly — so if you want the subscription stopped as well, cancel it or tell us and we will make sure the two line up. Work you have already generated and downloaded remains yours.
If a generation failed, produced nothing usable, or the service was unavailable when you tried to use it, tell us before anything else. Most of these are fixable, and MakeProp’s own credit rules already return credits to you when a purchased generation is not delivered — no refund request needed. Email hello@makeprop.com with what you were doing and we will investigate.
We may update this policy. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. The version in effect when you made a payment is the one that governs that payment.
